November 2008

He was such a wonderful baby to work with!  He never fussed at all during what I think turned into an hour and a half photo session…. um WOW!  Take a look and I’m sure you will agree….. he is a heart breaker!

Meet the Gallinek family!  We had such great fun on Sunday when they showed up for their Holiday Mini Family session.  Getting one person to look good is usually pretty easy but getting 5 to look good…. whoa!  I certainly think we accomplished our goal this time around!  Look how cute they all are and boy could I just eat her kids up they were so darn cute and well behaved!

I’m telling you… a kick ass assistant makes all the difference in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Here you can see Ms. Chaeli playing peek a boo!

So the “z” sisters showed up on Sunday and I just fell in LOVE with these black tutu type skirts they were wearing, oh and they had super cute shoes to match (don’t think you can see them in the photos though)…

Oh my goodness he was such a doll!  Mr. Will just plain and simply could NOT have been in a better mood this weekend.  We got so many smiles and laughter from this little guy.. it was amazing!

I had 4 mini sessions this past Sunday and boy am I so glad that my friend Chaeli agreed to help me out!  She was so good at getting the kids to laugh and relax quickly since we only had 20 min. to get some good photos for Moms Christmas cards!  Thanks Chaeli!

There are very few things that I can say have ever had an addictive “pull” on me……..

But the “Twilight” series of books is certainly my vice these days.  It’s so silly since they were written for highschool girls, but hey…. when I read these books I FEEL like a highschool girl!  Go ahead… make fun of me all you want, but ladies… if you haven’t read them… you are MISSING OUT on the best love story!

I just loved the victorian/vintagey feel that their Christmas dress’s had – they were so fun and sweet!

I just LOVE IT when kids have cute clothes for their photos and boy do these two fit the bill on that!  I think the Red Sweaters look so good on them both!  Check out these two little cuties…..

Here’s the Abercrombie ad:

And I just thought this one was funny:

As mommies we all know just how hard it is to not only get through the first year of a childs life, but to get through it with any ounce of sanity is the REAL trick, right?  I couldn’t believe it when I showed up at the “S” family’s house to find Mrs. S…. well, in the shape I wish I was in…. even before having kids… much less after having 3 kids with the youngest being less than4 months old (or there abouts).  Insane I tell you!  Sometimes life just insn’t fair!  I’ll have to find a photo of her with more of her full body showing.. just to prove to you that I am not stretching the truth here!

Whoot whoot….do’n my happy dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s right…. I won!

What did I win….. a photo contest!

My photo was chosen to hang on the walls of the wonderful company that handles all my portrait print work.  They had a call for requests from photographers to turn in some of their other non portrait works to help them decorate their new building and this one was one of the chosen:
