Just a quick note to let you all know that I will be in Germany from Thursday the 11th of June returning late on the evening of the 16th. I will respond to any emails, phone calls etc when I return. Here is a little peek at one of the places we will be staying…..it’s a REAL Castle!
Be prepared to be overwhelmed by posts and pictures of Germany when I return…. whoot whoot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so excited to share with you that I just sold a beautiful collection of 4 photos from a series I did while visiting my parents in Indiana. The wonderful lady who purchased them is having them framed in these unique old barn wood frames that are simply beautiful! I can’t wait to see them hanging on her wall! Deborah is just moving here and is a fantastic Interior Designer (I mean she chose some of my stuff so of course she HAS TO BE AWESOME!). Here home is to be included in the Charlotte Home show this fall! I can’t wait to see the collage on her walls. I promise to go take a picture of them once they are hung and post it back here, but for now… .here are the photos she chose.

I talk to many moms who say they don’t want to do maternity photos of their second pregnancy because they didn’t do it with their first baby and what I say is:
Your second child will never have all the “first’s” that your first child had so go ahead and let yourself do something “special” for this baby because it never seems to fail – you are busier with two kids so you don’t have as many photos of your second born, you don’t get that baby book done (or at least not with the same amount of detail) and the list goes on and on ESPECIALLY if you have two kids of the same sex…
So there you have it 
Go get those maternity photos done because each pregnancy if a gift to be cherished!
Thanks Chaeli for letting me take your photos on this second journey into motherhood! You look BEAUTIFUL and I have no idea how you are going to choose what photos to print because I love them all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok – yes the song really goes “Jessie’s girl” but in this case Jessie is the girl and not any girl at that…. but my kick butt babysitter! I am so happy that I have met and gotten to know Jessie. She is so warm, fun, and plain old cheerful! My kids ADORE her and beg me to go out to dinner so Jessie can come over!
Jessie is set to get married here in July to her wonderful fiance Dave. Dave you did a FANTASTIC job with this photo session. I know for guys…doing a photo session is comparable to being poked in the eye with a hot stick…. but you didn’t even complain when I asked you to take off your shoes…..whoot whoot! Give it up for …… Jessie and Dave! I hope you guys have a wonderful destination wedding and I can’t wait to hear all about it!
