Meet Cole – I don’t need to tell you just how handsome he is….. you can see that for yourself!  He is my little “model” friend and I always love it so much when his mom brings him around because he is so easy to photograph and boy does he have the BEST clothes!  If you know me at all then you know that I am a HUGE sucker for styled portraits and for anything to do with hats and scarves!  I think I scare people sometimes because I am always telling them to bring hats and scarves to their fall sessions because I truly feel it adds that extra umph to photos – gives them a bit more personality and style!  Well needless to say….his mom knocked it out of the park for me in this area!

I have only had a chance to proof a small few so far as I have been busy taking school photos at Anami Montessori this past week but I promise I will have more up soon!

• Thank you all so much for a wonderful year!  It is through your loyalty as wonderful clients that I have been able to give the gift of memories to 4 wonderful and deserving families this year!  What does that mean?  It means that they received not only complimentary sessions but also prints and or a disc of all their images to keep and cherish!  Thank you!

 

• I am completely book for 2009. 

 

• I will be offering a limited amount of spring sessions in March/April and then I will be taking time off from the end of April until August.  Why you ask?  Well…………….. we had a big shock and we are expecting baby #3!  Yes… I can’t believe it myself…. I will have three kids!  Yikes!  Our new little bundle is due to arrive May 1st.  Wish us luck!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you everyone for all the wonderful comments and prayers for Ellie and Grace and Team Potvin!  As you may have already read… after this chemo/treatment the Dr.’s are only giving Ellie a 10% chance of survival.  Heartbreaking to even think about! 

 

Well the girls are turning 8 at the end of the month.  As you can imagine… this birthday is very special to them and their family as they do not know if Ellie will be with them this same time next year.  If you feel compelled…. here is a link to donate to their celebration.  http://www.giveforward.org/EllieAndGraceTurn8/

End of summer ~ Charlotte Family Photographer~

Yes, it’s that time.  The time when kids go off to school and the beach becomes lonely for all those silly childish laughs.  It is…. dum.dum.dum… the end of summer.

I hope you all had a fantastic summer!  I have my oldest son heading off to kindergarten on Thursday so life is full of change for us, but good change of course!

Sun kissed and happy is how the J family has ended their summer.  They have played on the beach and now are ready for school.  I had a great time as always with the J family.  I think I’m going to have to higher “dad” as my assistant because he got some great smiles from his girls for me (you’ll see those later… I didn’t have time to get those up today).  Farewell to the summer and the pool…….hello fall!

It’s starting to get to be that time of year.  HOLIDAY Season is quickly approaching… don’t delay…. I only have a few sessions remaining for 2009!

I have one November session left and December is booked with a handful of session left for September and October.  (Newborn sessions still available)

Just a reminder that all remaining sessions for 2009 must be prepaid in order to hold your date.

I will be posting a few new Christmas and Holiday card designs shortly

Cover Cutie ~Children’s Photographer, Charlotte NC~

I am so proud to have the cover cutie image for Three years in a row (for the August issue) on Little Ones Magazine.   Little Ones Magazine is a local children’s magazine here in Charlotte, NC that has all sorts of fun articles pertaining to raising children and all the toys and gadgets that go along with parenthood! 

This year’s cover cute is little Ms. Kira Britt. I met Kira while I was doing the school photographs for Providence Presbyterian Preschool. Congrat’s Kira!
